VIP After Hours

Just like our small group tour in the morning, join our MAX 20 people to have a more in-depth experience at the Vatican Museums. The only difference? This tour will take place after the general closing time. Only on Friday & Saturday nights, between May and October, The Vatican Museums will re-open their gate to the public from 8 PM to 11 PM giving a more relaxed experience to few visitors. A small group will give you the chance to ask all the questions you have and your passionate tour guide will make sure that you get all the rights answers. Meet your Vatican Tour Guide in our Head Office, located just one minute walk from the Vatican Museum entrance gate. 

 

About Your Night Tour 

Sometimes it may seem hard to fit in your vacation all the beautiful monuments and museums Rome & the Vatican have to offer, it will seem that there's just not enough time for everything. Joining a special VIP night tour, you will have more time during the day going sightseeing in the chaotic city and enjoy a relaxing evening tour. No rush, no stress! After meeting Your Tour Guide you will have a VIP no wait entrance to the Vatican Museums and collect your headsets to listen carefully to your passionate guide, we will make sure that you don't miss a thing. Your Tour Guide will first stop at the illuminated Pinacoteca Courtyard where you will enhance a magnificent view of St. Peter's Dome. Keep in mind that the Church will remain closed at night but don't worry your tour guide will tell you all you need to know about St. Peter's Basilica, so you really don't miss out on anything. The next step will be the Pine Cone courtyard, another magnificent illuminated open area that takes its name from the 1st Century Bronze Pine Cone that stands there. Can you imagine that this same bronze pine cone use to stand near the Pantheon?!

 

You Tour Guide will then take you to the Octagonal Courtyard where you will visit the most unique statues such as Laocoon and his Sons, The statue of River God Arno and the Belvedere Apollo. Be stunned by the Round Room, that will probably remind you of the Pantheon in miniature, and the beautiful mosaics that decorate the floor. Explore the Vatican Galleries and ask how many questions you have as you walk down the Halls of pure art. We will make sure you will get the best of what this fantastic museum has to offer so next stop... Raphael Rooms. The beautifully decorated papal suites were fully painted by one of the Renaissance best-known painters and his scholars. Your passionate Tour Guide will illustrate the many details and stories behind the creation of these famous frescoes. The Highlight of your Tour will be at the very end of the Apostolic Palace, the place that everyone has been waiting for.. the Sistine Chapel. You will be speechless whilst visiting Michelangelo's frescoes at night, completely illuminated and most important less crowded.
